Both Brian and I knew we would miss out on some special moments during our two years abroad. One of those special moments occurred this weekend when our niece, Delaney, was introduced to this world.
Delaney arrived at 12:48 Sunday morning. First baby at the hospital born on 10-10-10. She weighs 6lbs 8oz and was 19 inches long. Both mommy and baby are doing great. :)

We love you so much and we are sorry we couldn't be there to welcome you into this world. You will be loved by so many wonderful people. You probably won't know this yet, but you have two of the most wonderful people as your parents. And your brother is pretty swell too :)
We will meet you real soon. Until then, your brother has promised to shower you with kisses for us.
