So Hawaii and Dubai decided to make a love child and they called her....Singapore.
What an amazing place. Beautiful...so beautiful. And orderly and clean...so clean. So clean that gum chewing in the country is illegal and you will be fined. You can't even buy gum anywhere. And if you spit out your gum, it's an even larger fine. No begging, almost no traffic, fresh island air...AMAZING!
We did everything from visit the Marina Bay Sands Resort and Hotel/Casino: http://www.marinabaysands.com/ to have dinner and drinks on Clarke Quay (like the San Antonio Riverwalk): http://www.clarkequay.com.sg/. and we took a river cruise down the Singapore River...and that was all on the first day.
Definitely check out the Sky Park on the top of the Marina Sands Hotel...amazing! 53 floors high and it only took us about 10 seconds on the elevator...I think they got the blue prints from Willy Wonka's elevator...except that we didn't fly out through glass at the end. We got to the sky park at 6pm to watch the sunset and check out the night lights on top of the casino/hotel.
Universal Studios has this amazing ice cream shop with exotic flavors like apple & chardonnay, Sangria, Dark Cherries & Merlot, and then the regulars. They are all served with watermelon which is different.
Here are my Shutterfly pictures if you want to check out Singapore:
