So we get on the plane....

and we wait.  And then we taxi out..... and wait.  And the pilot parks the airplane on the tarmac....and we wait.  JFK closed down due to bad weather and nothing was flying in and out.  Originally the pilot said we would wait for about 1.5 hours before receiving an update from JFK but thankfully we were in the air about one hour after our original departure time.

But while I am on the subject of JFK.  I feel like we've flown in and out of a good many of airports so I am worthy of providing my critique. I will never...EVER...fly through JFK again.  Having to take the airbus was a mess...I felt like I just walked off my last three days of meals.  I found myself just standing in the middle of the airport like Tom Hanks in "The Terminal."  Mental note: do not fly the mommys' through JFK when they come to visit us.

However, after checking-in for our trip to Hong Kong, Brian introduced me to the first-class lounge.  Ummmmm.....WOW.  I know I don't usually kick it high-class but this place is AWESOME!  Now I understand Chandler and Moncia's frustration when those newlyweds took the last 1st class seats on the plane (for all those who can reference the 'Friends' episode).  Huge fountain, free food, free wine (yes, free), and some lady just asked me if I wanted a massage.  I feel like this place is floating on some clouds or something.  I raided the food table like I've never seen an egg salad sandwich before.

So we have about three hours in this lounge that I will now refer to as my "Fantasia"  and then boarding flight to Hong Kong.  Until then.....

PS.  Big screen TV, leather recliner,  and Giants pre-season game = Brian's happy place.
