One week and then some....

This is our view from the living room of our apartment
This is our view from our kitchen, our gym is in that rotunda
So a little over a week here and I feel as though we are getting our groove.  Internet working good.  Brian bought his nice TV for the living room, telephone is almost installed, and our first round of baggage has landed in Jakarta (just waiting for it to pass through Customs...which I heard can take up to one month, ugh!).

This weekend we sign up for our language classes which will be very helpful.  A lot of Indonesians speak broken English but I think it will help getting around with the taxis and ordering meals at restaurants.  We found out the other night that ALL fast food restaurants deliver to our apartment....dangerous!

Today we are going to get our reflexology...which is basically a 90 minute foot massage for like 10 bucks.  And then we are trying out a new restaurant that everyone has recommended....sort of like the Melting Pot.

"I'm so depressed!"  That is all I hear coming out of my husband's mouth since Steven Strasburg tore something in his elbow.  I keep trying to tell Brian that he just didn't want to pitch when Brian wasn't there to watch him.

We were supposed to go to Guilles Island with some friends over Labor Day but one of the couples had to back out so we cancelled the Villa.  We might make a quick trip to Bali instead.

I leave for Singapore on Tuesday....YAY!!!!
