So many questions being asked, I thought I'd try to answer them all in one blog post:
1. Have we sold our house in Ashburn? No. But if someone has some gasoline and a match, we could fix this issue very quickly.
2. Brian's job? Brian's commute to work takes approximately 8 minutes door to door. The best part is, his commute is walking to work. No taxi/driving necessary.
3. What fast food restaurants? When I had asked this question back in April, someone told me that Jakarta had one fast food chain, Wendys. Ummmm....what rock were they hiding under? We have EVERY fast food chain; Wendys, KFC, Popeyes, A&W, McDonalds (which deliveres 24/7), Pizza Hut, 7-11, Circle K, Baskin Robbins, Cold Stone Creamery, Dunkin Donuts, Crispy Cream. I might have asked the taxi driver to pull over the other day when I saw the 7-11...they had me at the SLURPEE sign.
4. What other restaurants do you have? EVERYTHING. Outback, Chilis, Benihana, Tony Romas, and awesome restaurants in all the hotels. The Hyatt, 4 Seasons, and Ritz Carlton are the top hotels here but all are huge and glorious. The Hyatt has heated marble floors. No joke.
5. Shopping Malls? Yes, one on every corner and they are no joke big. Every high fashion shop you can possibly imagine from all parts of the world; Armani, Gucci, Louie V, Coach, anything Italian, Nine West, Gap, Gap Kids, Banana Republic, etc, etc, etc. Every shopping mall is equipped with every make up line..MAC, Estee Lauder, Bobby Brown, etc. And every shopping mall has about 7 to 8 floors worth of shops. Not to mention that every shopping mall has a grocery store on the bottom floor.
