10 Things about Hong Kong airport (drafted during a 14 hour layover)

10.  DO NOT call it Terminal 1.  It is called Terminal A.  BIG difference.

9.  When security says the location is "just around the corner" it means go down the escalater, around the corner and into the transporation train.

8.  There really is a significant difference between an English and Aussie accent.

7.  Pack a Snuggie and you can sleep ANYWHERE.  (ie. in a chair two sizes too small for you)

6.  Sydney and city sound the same.  So when I ask how long a taxi drive to the city would be, the response is "6 hours"

5.  They too like taking pictures of the bulehs.  Yeah, because I am going to believe that the lady wanted a picture of the buffet table that I just happen to be standing at.  The gig is up lady...just ask me to smile.

4.  15 minute massages means 14 minutes and 59 seconds.

3.  Free food = rice rolls.

2.  Always carry a pen.  No one who works here believes in them.  Including those working at the Customs counter where they instruct you to complete a form.

1.  Traveler's lounge.  Learn it, buy it, enjoy it!
