Brian tells me that I can no longer say I'm "thirty"...I must say that I'm "in my thirties" But being a 31 year old is turning out to be a-ok with me.
My birthday kicked off with a wonderful present from my friend, Betty.

Each year Betty would make me a fabulous cake for my birthday...my favorite cake she made I refer to as a Cinnabon cake. So this year I received a birthday gift from Betty with all the ingredients to make this fabulous cake. But instructions said that Brian would have to follow the recipe and make it for me. Well as you can see, Brian did a wonderful job!
Birthday date with my husband to a fun restaurant I've been wanting to try called The Social House. After dinner we came home to enjoy the yummy cake. I was surprised by friends who came over to sing "Happy Birthday" and to enjoy the cake with Brian and me.
The next night we went for a delicious dinner with friends.
